Paul starts with the belt of truth, which holds our armor together.
Our shield of faith extinguishes the flaming arrows of the evil one.
The Word of God is our sword that defends against the lies of the enemy.
Ephesians 6:18 tells us, "...pray at all times in the Spirit and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints," NASB
"You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder." James 2:19, NASB
"Now the seventy-two returned with joy, saying, 'Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name!'
And He [Jesus] said to them, 'I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.'" Luke 10:17-20 NASB
