I am a born again Jesus loving nerd! I grew up on both coasts then landed in the middle where me and my husband and three girls hang out now. I was introduced to cosplay through attending my first comic con back in 2014 and instantly fell in love with the craft and the community. In Texas, I started a cosplay for Christ small group through my church where we had fun growing together in our faith and craft of cosplay.

She has won several best in shows and judges choice awards throughout her cosplay career. Now she lives in Missouri focusing her efforts on the Christian Cosplay community through her Cosplay for Christ Podcast and connecting with others at local cons. Jess wants to encourage and strengthen her fellow Christian cosplayers to know who they are in Christ and to be everything God is calling them to be, in and out of cosplay!

Laura Farrar, is the artist and author of the Soverign and Citizen book series, beginning with The Chains of Death. She was born in San Angelo, Texas, and now residing in Central Texas, has spent over 20 years in creative and marketing industries, including film, newspapers, radio, and online marketing.

Laura wrote her first novel at 17, exploring themes of culture, media, and life’s deeper meanings. Inspired by her teenage daughters, she ventured into the YA fantasy genre to create engaging, wholesome stories that emphasize character, love, and sacrifice—filling a gap for families seeking meaningful content.
